We are having a fabulous weekend in Bordentown City! It seems like Black Friday was well trafficked, and there was the 17th Annual Holiday Open House at Shoppe 202, that we all look forward to as the kick off to the Holiday Season......

Then Saturday there was a Train Show and Display housed at Old City Hall that was a fabulous
attraction! And of course the lighting of the City tree in the middle of town. It's a gorgeous tree
this year, come see it if you haven't already.

This Saturday, 11//27 was also named "Small Business Saturday" a shopping concept that was
launched by American Express. I wanted to share a story of a shopper that came to town yesterday committed to shopping only small businesses in an effort to "buy local" and to support
"the little retail" establishments. Her criteria was to be greeted warmly and to feel welcomed,
and I was thrilled she was an art lover as well! I'd like to thank her warmly for her Small Business shopping, and hope the original piece she selected brings her many, many Artful moments!

Please consider a Buy Local shopping experience this Holiday Season as you select gifts for you
and yours. It's the Main Streets that need your patronage in order to remain viable.
Stop by the Artful Deposit Gallery to select an original painting, photograph, pottery bowl, windchime and more for the "one of a kind" people in your life.....

Enjoy this gorgeous day, and may you make it an Artful One!
